USEP Teacher Selected as 2015 PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovator

Congratulations to Pasco teacher and USEP member Bobbi Startling on being selected by PBS to serve as a 2015 PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovator!

Bobbi teaches fourth and fifth grade at Woodland Elementary School, where she uses cutting-edge technology to promote digital literacy and collaborative learning in her classrooms. She also leads the Robotics and Technology Clubs at her school.

The 2015 PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovators program rewards 100 teachers from across the country “who are serving as leaders in the education technology space and incorporating digital media in classrooms to promote student engagement and achievement.” As part of the program, LearningMedia Digital Innovators receive yearlong professional development opportunities to continue bringing innovative teaching practices to their classrooms and school.

Bobbi is one of the many teachers in Pasco County who is using technology to prepare students for the demands of the 21st century, and we’re proud to count her among our membership!
