Florida’s accountability system has gone horribly wrong. Our students are being subjected to toxic amounts of testing. Throughout the state, parents are opting out of state testing mandates and school districts are calling upon the Florida legislature to reform the culture of testing it has imposed on our schools.

Now you can add your voice to the thousands who oppose the Legislature’s testing obsession.

Assess the Test is the Florida Education Association’s campaign to empower teachers and SRP to take action against the damage being done by the state’s broken testing and evaluation system and to persuade lawmakers to take a comprehensive approach to reform during the 2015 legislative session. Teachers and SRP are asked to grade Florida’s evaluation system by completing the appropriate “report card” at this location.

The campaign hopes to show lawmakers the truth about Florida’s standardized testing system by exposing how toxic testing impedes learning-focused education.

Survey results will be tabulated in late February to determine an A-F rating for the state’s standardized testing system.
