USEP SALUTES ALL F.N.S. EMPLOYEES

FOOD & NUTRITION RECOGNITION DAY
FRIDAY, MAY 7, 2021

USEP wants to say, “THANK YOU!” to all our Food & Nutrition Employees. Starting the 4th quarter of last year and continuing through the summer, FNS employees, along with others, helped serve hundreds of thousands of meals to students throughout our district. Due to the economic impact of COVID-19 on the economy and jobs, these meals provided the only nutrition available. Putting themselves in the midst of the pandemic, and dealing with people in various states of despair, our FNS staff supplied food along with hope and compassion.

Continuing on through this school year, many returned to their brick & mortar worksites to make sure our students were provided with substantive food offerings to provide the nutrition and enrichment needed to sustain quality academics.

Each and every school day, our FNS employees serve a critical role in our district and in the lives of our students. Please know that USEP appreciates your loyalty and dedication to your job and our students.
