USEP SRP Negotiations Update

USEP and the District SRP bargaining teams have reached an agreement on SALARY INCREASES!

Last night, in a bargaining session at the USEP office, an agreement was reached that includes an overall average salary increase of 5.40% for current SRP employees that earned a year of service credit in the 2023-2024 school year! This total salary improvement includes 1.25% from the improved salary schedule ranges, 1.9% (average) from increased referendum funding, and 2.25% additional increase for employees that earned a year of service credit in 2023-2024. The 1.25% from the increased salary schedules and the additional 2.25% from the General Fund will be retroactive to July 1, 2024. Also included in the economics package is an increase of $459.36 per employee toward the cost of the health insurance benefit package. This brings the total annual per employee benefit contribution to $8,700.

Thank you to the USEP SRP Bargaining Team for their help in reaching this very positive outcome. Also, thank you to the District Bargaining Team, staff, and School Board for their work and collaboration throughout this bargaining cycle.

More details will be coming about the ratification process.
