USEP INSTRUCTIONAL Negotiations Update

USEP and the District Instructional bargaining teams have reached an agreement on SALARY INCREASES!

Tonight, in a bargaining session at the USEP office, an agreement was reached that includes an overall average salary increase of 5.19% for current Instructional employees that earned a year of service credit in the 2023-2024 school year! This total salary improvement includes 1.83% from the Teacher Salary Increase Allocation, 1.69% (average) from increased referendum funding, and 1.67% additional increase for employees that earned a year of service credit in 2023-2024. The 1.83% from the Teacher Salary Increase Allocation and the additional 1.67% from the General Fund will be retroactive to July 1, 2024. Also included in the economics package is an increase of $459.36 per employee toward the cost of the health insurance benefit package. This brings the total annual per employee benefit contribution to $8,700. The agreement includes increases of 3% for all academic and athletic supplements. The agreement includes an increase of $195 for those that provide an additional period of instruction from $6,500 to $6,695.
Thank you to the USEP Instructional Bargaining Team for their help in reaching this very positive outcome. Also, thank you to the District Bargaining Team, staff, and School Board for their work and collaboration throughout this bargaining cycle. More details will be coming about the ratification process.

The USEP and District SRP Bargaining Teams have a bargaining session scheduled for Thursday, August 29th and hope to reach an agreement in the near future.
